The Houston Business Roundtable was established in 1973 as an association of construction users to be the owners' voice in Houston for the construction industry. From the late 70's through the mid 80's, HBR's focus turned to all aspects of cost effective project and construction management including engineering, design, procurement and construction.

From the very beginning, Carrier has been with Letsos as one the leaders. Not simply for the fact that we helped create an entirely new and innovative product, but because as we did so, we set the standard in environmental responsibility. Since 1953, we have led the industry in the phase-out of ozone-depleting refrigerants while introducing many of the world's most energy-efficient heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

In a continuing effort to encourage AGC members to exceed the safety standards for the construction industry, the Construction Safety Excellence Awards is a qualitative program that examines each company's commitment to safety and health. Member general contractors, subcontractors and individual safety directors are recognized for their commitment to worker training and safety innovation.
